The EDExams App is compatible with Windows PCs and Apple Macs that meet the required specifications. It does not support mobile phones, iPads, tablets, Chromebooks, or computers in ‘S’ mode.

 

Why can’t I use my mobile phone or tablet for the exam?

The EDExams App requires a secure and stable environment for exam administration, which is best achieved on a Windows PC or Mac. Mobile devices and tablets are not supported to ensure security and functionality.

 

Are there any Wi-Fi restrictions I should know about?

Certain Wi-Fi restrictions, like parental controls or public Wi-Fi networks, may block access to the exam. If you’re using Talk Talk Wi-Fi, specific settings may also need adjustments. We recommend using a secure, stable network and checking your settings before starting the exam.
